Village of Bruce
Special Board Meeting
Thursday, November 5, 2015

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Board Meeting of the Village of Bruce was held on Thursday, November 5, 2015.  The purpose of this meeting was to approve the 2016 Budget, and set the Levy.

Michael Newman presided and called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  The following Board members were present:  Jim Moore, Shane Trott, Jim Doke, Gayanne Skogen, Mark Zimmer and Bobbi Jo Fillion. Terry Hegeholz and Jessica Hayes were also present.

Motion by Doke, seconded by Fillion to approve the Agenda, carried.

New Business:

Public Hearing November 5, 2015, 6:30 p.m. for the Proposed 2016 Budget:  Newman reported a Public Hearing was held at 6:30 p.m., prior to the Special Board Meeting.

Review the Budget, discussion and approval of the 2016 Budget and to set the Levy, including approval of all internal transfers and unresolved matters:

Motion by Doke, seconded by Fillion to approve the 2016 Village of Bruce Budget of $415,204.00 including approval of all internal transfers and unresolved matters, carried.

Motion by Fillion, seconded by Trott to approve setting the Levy at $63,265.00, carried.

Adjournment:

With no other business to discuss, Newman called for a motion to adjourn.  Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Fillion to adjourn, carried.  Adjournment was at 7:03 p.m.
