VILLAGE OF BRUCE 2025 CAUCUS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the 2025 Village of Bruce Caucus was held on Monday,
January 6th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 100 W. River Avenue, Bruce, Wisconsin.
Village President Shane Trott called to order the Caucus at 5:00 p.m. A sign in sheet was circulated.
First order of business was to call for a method on a tie breaker. Motion by Galen Brainerd, seconded by Mark Zimmer to conduct a ballot vote.
Trott called for nominations for Chairperson.
Motion by Galen Brainerd, seconded by Darlene Wundrow to appoint Mark Zimmer as Chairperson. Trott called twice for any other nominations for Chairperson. Mark Zimmer was unanimously appointed as Chairperson to run the Caucus.
Chairperson Zimmer called for nominations for two tellers to canvass votes for the Caucus. Motion by Trott to nominate Nicole Frisinger as teller, seconded by Brainerd. Motion by Trott to nominate Tim Dolan as teller, seconded by Wundrow.
The following positions which terms expire April 15th, 2025 are listed. The Spring Election will be held on April 1st, 2025

Incumbent Shane Trott for Village President
Incumbent Galen McGee Brainerd for Village Trustee
Incumbent Jim Johnson for Village Trustee
Incumbent Tim Dolan for Village Trustee
Motion by Brainerd to nominate Shane Trott for Village President, seconded by Dolan.
Chairperson Zimmer called twice for further nominations for Village President.
With none made, he called for a motion to close nominations for Village President. Motion by Brainerd to close nominations for Village President, seconded by Dolan.
Zimmer called for nominations for Village Trustees.
Motion by Trott to nominate Jim Johnson for Village Trustee, seconded by Wundrow.
Motion by Trott to nominate Tim Dolan for Village Trustee, seconded by Wundrow.
Motion by Trott to nominate Galen McGee Brainerd for Village Trustee, seconded by Wundrow.
Chairperson Zimmer called twice for further nominations for Village Trustees.
With none made, he called for a motion to close nominations for Village Trustees. Motion by Trott to close nominations for Village Trustees, seconded by Wundrow.
Chairperson Zimmer read all nominations aloud.
Shane Trott for Village President.
Jim Johnson, Galen McGee Brainerd and Tim Dolan for Trustees.
Chairperson Zimmer called for a motion to adjourn. Motion by Trott to adjourn the 2025 Village of Bruce Caucus, seconded by Dolan.
The Caucus adjourned at 5:13 p.m.
