Public Budget Hearing
Monday, November 10th, 2025
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Public Hearing was held at the Village Hall on Monday, November 10th, 2025.
Village President Shane Trott called the Public Hearing to order at 5:00 p.m. The following Board members were present; Mark Zimmer, Darlene Wundrow, Jim Johnson, Galen Brainerd & Tim Dolan. Kim Grasley was absent. Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Hayes attended as well. A sign in sheet was circulated.
The purpose of the hearing was to gather input from the public, review and hear comments on the proposed 2026 Budget for the Village of Bruce.
Trott reported the proposed budget for 2026 for the Village of Bruce is $617,977.00 and the tax levy is $139,204.00.
With no questions from the public and after the required time limit, Trott called for any further comments and none were made. Trott called for a motion to adjourn.
Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Brainerd to adjourn at 5:30 p.m., carried.
