SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
May 18th, 2026
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a scheduled Special meeting of the Village Board was held on Monday, May 18th, 2026.
Village President Shane Trott presided and called to order the meeting at the American Legion Hall facility, 804 N. Main Street, at 5:30 p.m. Board members present were Galen Brainerd, Jim Johnson, John Hoiby, Mark Zimmer & Darlene Wundrow. Trustee Dolan was absent. Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Hayes attended as well.
NEW BUSINESS:
Revocation of Liquor License of JB & SM Enterprises, LLC, d/b/a Hot Shots, Sandra J. Murray, Agent: Motion by Wundrow, seconded by Brainerd to revoke the liquor license from JB & SM Enterprises, LLC, d/b/a Hot Shots, Sandra J. Murray, Agent, carried.
Class ‘B’ Combo Liquor & Beer License – Jamie’s Tavern, LLC: Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Johnson to approve a Class ‘B’ Combo liquor license to Jamie’s Tavern, LLC, d/b/a Jamie’s Tavern, Jamie L. Shelton, agent, carried.
Cigarette License – Jamie’s Tavern, LLC: Motion by Brainerd, seconded by Johnson to approve a cigarette license to Jamie’s Tavern, LLC, carried.
Coin License – Jamie’s Tavern, LLC: Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Wundrow to approve a coin license to Jamie’s Tavern, LLC, carried.
Operator’s Licenses:
Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Brainerd to approve an operator’s license to Jamie L. Shelton, carried.
Motion by Brainerd, seconded by Johnson to approve an operator’s license to Jason A.M. Frey, carried.
Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Wundrow to approve an operator’s license to Jenny R. Bastie, carried.
Motion by Wundrow, seconded by Brainerd to approve an operator’s license to Dawn M. Kelley, carried.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Brainerd to adjourn, carried. Adjournment was at 5:33 p.m.
