SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

June 17th, 2026

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a scheduled Special meeting of the Village Board was held on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026.

Village President Shane Trott presided and called to order the meeting at the American Legion Hall facility, 804 N. Main Street, at 3:30 p.m. Board members present were Galen Brainerd, Jim Johnson, Mark Zimmer & Darlene Wundrow. Trustees Tim Dolan & John Hoiby were absent. Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Hayes and Public Works Director Casey Gudis attended as well.  

NEW BUSINESS:     
Bid Opening & Award for Village Hall Flood Damage Repairs:
Two bids were received for the project. One from JJ Northland Construction, LLC in the amount of $73,400.00 and the other from Northland Construction Services in the amount of $72,130.00. After review of the itemized bids, motion by Zimmer, seconded by Brainerd to award the bid to Northland Construction Services in the amount of $72,130.00 and approve one of the line items on the bid from Northland Construction Services for upgrading the lighting to LED for $250.00 per light, if approved by the insurance company, and accepting the revised bid accordingly, carried.

ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Brainerd, seconded by Wundrow to adjourn, carried.  Adjournment was at 3:59 p.m.
