Places to Visit


The Village Of Bruce offers several recreational activities to enjoy and attend.

1. The ‘Blue Hills’

Bruce is known as ‘The Gateway to the Blue Hills’. The Blue Hills Recreation Area offers cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ATVing, biking, fishing, geocaching, hiking, birdwatching, hunting, snowmobiling and camping.

2. Village of Bruce Park

Camping is available upon permission from the Municipal Office @ 100 West River Ave. or by calling the office @ 715-868-2185

Pavilion rentals are also available upon permission & payment with the Municipal Office.
Fees for the pavilion rental are $50.00 without kitchen use and $75.00 with kitchen use. Both rentals include free garbage disposal and a $50.00 deposit that is non refundable if garage is not disposed of properly. All fees are to be paid at the Municipal Office. Time slots are limited and are first come first serve.

In Early Spring you may find asparagus, greens, kohlrabi, green onions, peas, raspberries and strawberries.

In Mid-Summer you could find green beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, beets, sweet corn, lettuce, okra, peppers, and a variety of other products.

In Late Summer you may find blackberries, apples, cantaloupe, eggplant, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, summer squash, tomatoes and watermelon.

Early Fall brings to the market such selections as cauliflower, sweet corn, pears, pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, and turnips.

Other products you may find throughout the season include:
Maple syrup, honey, salsa, soaps, bedding plants, herbs, beef products, poultry, eggs, relish, fresh baked breads and cakes, cookies, cheese, jams, jellies, & fresh herbs
